How big are the fax files that are emailed to me? |
10 full A4 pages will create a file of about 600 kilobytes. The more white space on the page, the smaller the file size. |
How long after I register will my fax line be active? |
Within two working days you will be able to send and receive faxes. |
Do I have to sign a contract? |
No, there are no contracts. |
Is there a limit to the number of faxes I can receive? |
Absolutely not. You can receive an unlimited number of faxes |

| No, All Telkom's 086 numbers can only be dialled from South Africa. |
What if two people send me a fax at the same time? |
No problem. You can receive up to 500 faxes simultaneously! |
Does my computer have to on to receive faxes? |
No. Your faxes behave exactly like ordinary e-mail |
Will I require special software to view and print my faxes? |
No, windows has a built in TIFF viewer. |
What is a TIFF file? |
TIFF is an image or "picture" file format that can contain multiple pages. |
